About: PhD in a relevant field obtained not earlier than in 2017 (elapsed time may be extended by time spent on parental leave or serious health reasons). The candidate should demonstrate relevant first or senior author publication history, scientific enthusiasm and deep contextual understanding in the field of cell biology (preferentially with focus on membrane trafficking, the cytoskeleton and cell polarity). Experience with plant experimental systems is welcome but not essential. The candidate should show familiarity with topics studied in the prospective host lab (see below), as well as the ability to formulate a brief proposal summarizing scientific intentions.
